Hello There! My name is Sarah Goodwin.
My wellness journey brought me to a career as a health and well-being coach. Owning an event planning/design business for a decade was exhilarating and rewarding. It taught me several invaluable skills. What it did not teach me was the value of self-care.
Through self-discovery, I found a deep interest and respect for wellness, especially for professionals who aid individuals in achieving their optimal lives. As one chapter ended, a new chapter began, in health coaching. I am now a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), trained at Duke Health & Well-Being.
Being a health coach allows me to live true to my ideals while supporting others in their journey toward wholeness, with compassion and empathy. The ability to use my creativity when assisting a client to live their optimal life energizes me. I celebrate each client’s courage in making a change and their unique path toward their goal.
When not coaching, I am home in the beach community of South Portland, Maine with my husband and three beloved pups. The garden is my happy place, deeply rooted in my childhood in the Finger Lakes Region of New York. My core values are creativity, gratitude, honesty, kindness, loyalty, and wisdom. I try to live my life by the motto What Would Dolly?
